A warm and welcoming family based in Kirkland is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and engaging Manny / Household Assistant to provide long-term support for their 19-year-old son, who is autistic and benefits from companionship, structure, and social engagement. The family recently relocated and is looking for someone who can help create consistency, stability, and a positive environment within the home following a family loss.
This role is ideal for a patient, emotionally mature candidate who genuinely enjoys building meaningful connections while also assisting with the day-to-day operations of a busy household. Candidates with interests in technology, gaming, and computers are highly encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
Manny Support
  • Provide companionship, mentorship, and consistent support for the family's 19-year-old son
  • Encourage social engagement, outings, and shared activities based on his interests, including gaming, computers, and technology
  • Foster independence, routine, and positive daily structure
  • Accompany the family during travel and overnight stays as needed
  • Assist with scheduling activities, appointments, and family logistics
  • Serve as a calm, supportive, and positive presence within the household
