A private family in Mercer Island, Washington is seeking an experienced couple to work together as a Household Management Team to help manage and maintain their residence.

This is an excellent opportunity for a couple who works well as a team, takes pride in maintaining a beautiful home, and can independently recognize what needs attention. The family is flexible regarding how responsibilities are divided and is open to tailoring the position around each person’s strengths and experience.

The household is friendly and active, with one parent working from home, one school-aged child living in the home full-time, and a dog.

The family values professionalism, discretion, reliability, and a calm, pleasant presence in the home. The couple should be friendly and approachable while understanding the importance of maintaining appropriate boundaries and minimizing disruptions during the workday.


Primary Responsibilities

Responsibilities may be divided between the couple based on their individual experience and strengths.


Housekeeping & Household Care
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the residence

  • Perform detailed and routine housekeeping throughout the home

  • Laundry, including washing, drying, folding, organizing, and putting items away

  • Change and maintain bed linens
