Located at the base of Penn 1, Office Hours is about to go through an exciting transformation — a refreshed, fun, and trend-forward coffee experience in the heart of the Penn District. We’re creating a space that feels energetic, warm, and welcoming, where great coffee meets great people.

We offer gourmet grab-and-go fare, specialty coffees, and house-made soups, sandwiches, salads, and snacks. Whether guests are grabbing a quick morning latte or stopping by for a meeting, we aim to make Office Hours their favorite daily ritual.

As we prepare for our relaunch, we’re building a team that’s passionate about hospitality, energized by a fast-paced environment, and excited to help shape a new chapter of this concept.

Job duties but not limited to:

  • Take beverage orders from guests and servers
  • Prepare and serve coffee, cortado, americano, latte and cappuccino based on standard recipes
  • Recommends coffee flavor profiles to customers
  • Posses full knowledge in local roasters and tea offerings that we feature
  • Participate in a culture of innovation by contributing ideas for house and seasonal coffee and tea beverages
  • Learns the names and personally recognize our regular guests
  • Takes ownership the coffee bar and maintains cleanliness in all areas including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves and storage areas
  • Taking care of our guests using our methods for delivering contagious hospitality

  • Must have exceptional grooming habits
  • Comfortable working early morning hours a must
  • One year of past Barista experience a plus
  • Have working knowledge of traditional espresso beverages
  • Possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and operate a point of sales system
  • Basic knowledge of 2-group espresso machine and commercial coffee maker
