Position Summary
The Associate will provide administrative, customer service, and event support for Workforce1 recruitment activities, Community Partner events, and employer engagement initiatives. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, customer-focused service, and the ability to support job seekers throughout the employment process.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support during recruitment events.
  • Provide administrative support during Community Partner events.
  • Provide triage support during virtual recruitment and Community Partner events.
  • Process CIFs during Community Partner events.
  • Travel to off-site events as required.
  • Provide triage support during employer recruitment events, both in-house and at Community Partner locations.
  • Assist other departments as needed.
  • Support job seekers with completing online applications.
  • Maintain knowledge of current Workforce1 job openings and recruitment calendars.
  • Learn and utilize the NYC Workforce1 website and follow all applicable protocols.
  • Conduct follow-up with candidates regarding interviews, job placements, and related activities.
  • Perform data entry of customer information during off-site events.
  • Facilitate orientations for new Workforce1 customers as needed.
  • Conduct initial assessments in accordance with funder requirements.
  • Collect and review customer information forms and supporting documentation.
  • Learn and adhere to all funder, grant, and program guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) preferred.
Experience
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in an office or administrative environment.
Pay Rate: $21.60-$23.60/Hourly
