Total Compensation: $23.00 - $30.00 hourly wage

What You'll Do
We are seeking a dedicated Project Support Specialist that will complete defined project related tasks in support of Viking Electric Project Managers. Develop and maintain client and partner relationships with external customers, representatives, and/or vendors through building trust and providing high levels of service.
You will...
  • Create and monitor preliminary status reports. Accurately provide shipment schedules to ensure project timelines are upheld.
  • Request approval drawings from reps and/or compile into Viking Electric drawings, operation and maintenance documents based on project requirements, and assemble submittal drawing packages.
  • Assist in managing the percentage of completion reports and ensuring proper job closeout.
  • Assist with Direct Through Stock process according to customers' expectations. Work closely with DTS Specialists and warehouse associates to plan for material receipts, resolve problems, and coordinate deliveries.
  • Monitor digital tools and software to ensure accuracy and upload necessary project documents.
  • Perform customer returns and work with Project Managers to resolve defective and damaged product issues including freight claims.

What You Bring
Requirements:
  • Minimum education: High School Diploma/GED.
  • Minimum two years of office experience.
  • Working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, internet navigation, and Adobe.
  • Two years post high school education or equivalent experience desirable.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without VISA sponsorship now or in the future.
