Genesis Automotive and RV Repair is a growing, locally owned automotive and RV repair company with strong annual sales. We are looking for a competent, motivated Lead Service Advisor to help lead our service department, support our technicians, and deliver an excellent customer experience.

Position Overview
The Lead Service Advisor will oversee daily service operations, help manage workflow, dispatch, support customer communication, monitor key performance indicators, and work closely with ownership to maintain and improve current policies and processes.
The ideal candidate understands automotive repair, is comfortable working with point-of-sale and shop management systems, and can help keep the team organized, productive, and focused on quality service.
RV service experience is helpful but not required. Ownership will work directly with the candidate to teach our systems, processes, RV service presentations, and company workflow while they are learning.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily workflow in the service department
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding service needs, repairs, timelines, and approvals
- Support technicians and help keep repair orders moving efficiently
- Monitor shop performance, sales goals, gross profit, productivity, and other KPIs
- Work within current company policies, procedures, and workflow
- Use point-of-sale and shop management software
- Help maintain a positive, organized, and accountable team environment
- Partner with ownership to improve processes and customer experience
- Learn and support RV service presentations and related service opportunities
- Help drive team performance, customer satisfaction, and profitable growth
Qualifications
- Experience in automotive mechanical service and repair
- Prior service advisor, service manager, shop foreman, or similar leadership experience preferred
- Familiarity with point-of-sale or shop management software
- Understanding of KPIs, gross profit, productivity, and service department performance
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Organized, motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced repair environment
- Willingness to learn company systems, RV service processes, and internal procedures
- Ability to lead by example and work well with ownership, technicians, and customers
Compensation
This position offers an hourly wage plus team and personal gross profit earnings. Compensation will be based on experience, performance, and ability to contribute to department growth.ย
