Job description

RV Park Landscape Worker Duties

An RV park landscape worker is responsible for maintaining the grounds, facilities, and cleanliness of the property to ensure a safe, attractive, and welcoming environment for guests and staff. Duties typically include both landscaping and general maintenance tasks.

Core Responsibilities

  • Landscaping & Grounds Maintenance: Mow lawns, trim shrubs and trees, remove dead vegetation, and perform seasonal landscaping tasks such as seeding, sodding, fertilizing, and planting 

  • Equipment Operation & Maintenance: Operate and maintain lawn mowers, trimmers, chainsaws, tractors, and other landscaping equipment; perform basic repairs and keep tools in good working order 

  • Facility & Building Maintenance: Perform minor plumbing, electrical, and building repairs; maintain and clean guest common areas, restrooms, and equipment storage areas 

  • Snow & Weather Removal: Use tractors, plows, and shovels to clear snow and ice from walkways, parking areas, and entrances  Trash & Cleanliness: Pick up and dispose of litter and garbage from sites and common areas; keep facilities clean and presentable 

  • Pool & Spa Maintenance: Assist with cleaning and upkeep of pool and spa areas when assigned 

  • Event Support: Help with setup and teardown of events, and assist with special activities 

  • Maintenance Records: Keep accurate logs of repairs, equipment maintenance, and other assigned tasks 

  • Backup Support: Cover for the manager when unavailable, including occasional weekend work 

Qualifications
General
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and able to obtain and maintain a Ute Mountain Ute Gaming Commission Non-Support License
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
  • Must maintain reliable contact availability and be reachable for operational or emergency needs as required
  • Must be able and willing to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and emergency call situations
  • Must demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced operational environment
  • Must be able to pass a drug test.
Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
Experience
  • Minimum 6 months of engineering, maintenance, or related facilities experience required
  • Minimum 1 year of carpentry experience required
  • Experience in casino, hotel, commercial, or hospitality facility maintenance preferred

Skills & Requirements

  • Ability to operate and maintain various landscaping and maintenance equipment.

  • Physical stamina for outdoor work in hot, cold, and inclement weather.

  • Valid driver’s license and ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings 

  • Basic computer skills for maintenance records and reservation systems.

  • Strong communication skills for interacting with guests and staff.

  • SENIOR LANDSCAPER HAS 4-6 YEARS HANDS ON EXPERIENCE ON PLANTING GRASS REPLACING SPRINKLERS INSTALLING A NEW WHOLE SPRINKLER SYSTEM FROM SCRATCH , PROGRAMMING SPRINKLER CONTROL BOARDS 

  • WILL ALSO HELP MAINTAIN PROPERTY AROUND CASINO AND INDIAN VILLAGE
