Registered Nurse (RN) Medical Surgical Unit | Hudson, FL
Full-Time | Days & Nights, Rotating Weekends
Pay Range: $30.00 to $42.00/hr (based on experience)
Shift Differentials: $4.75/hr Nights | $3.00/hr Weekends
Sign-On Bonus: Up to $25,000 (paid in 6-month increments)
Relocation Assistance: Case-by-case basis

Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for medical-surgical patients.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
  • Document patient information accurately, including test results and progress notes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Monitor patient conditions, report changes, and respond appropriately to emergencies.
  • Maintain safety, infection control, and compliance with clinical protocols.
Qualifications
Required:
  • Active Florida RN license or multistate compact license (must obtain FL license within 90 days of hire).
  • Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN).
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS American Heart Association) certification.
  • Minimum 1 year of recent acute care RN experience (no recent LTACH experience).
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends.
  • Onsite interviews required prior to offer.
Preferred:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
  • Experience in a hospital medical-surgical unit or telemetry environment.
  • Advanced certifications such as ACLS or NIHSS.
