Job description

Baer is looking for SAP SCM Resource Managerfor a 6+ month remote project.
Title: SAP SCM Resource Manager
Location: Remote (10-20% travel to plants as needed)
Duration: 6 months
Rate: Hourly Plus Expenses Reimbursed
Alignment: W2 or C2C
Overview
We are seeking a hands-on SAP Resource Manager to manage capacity planning, resource allocation, and project staffing across manufacturing and supply chain functions. You will use Wrike and SAP S/4HANA to align workforce and machine capacity with production schedules and demand plans.
Description
  • Plan and manage resource capacity across teams, plants, and production lines
  • Translate SAP data into staffing and shift plans
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align resources with demand
  • Run resource reviews, resolve conflicts, and support project timelines
  • Track utilization and performance metrics; generate reports (Excel, Power BI)
  • Identify bottlenecks and drive solutions
  • Improve processes and train teams on tools and best practices

Requirements
  • 5+ years in resource/capacity management (manufacturing or supply chain)
  • Strong experience with Wrike and SAP S/4HANA
  • Advanced Excel and reporting skills (Power BI preferred)
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field

Preferred
  • Experience in consumer goods or process manufacturing
  • Knowledge of S&OP and production planning concepts
  • Experience with project/portfolio management
