Responsibilities
1. Manage a caseload of personal injury defense cases, ensuring that all cases are handled efficiently and effectively.
2. Conduct thorough and detailed investigations to gather all pertinent information and evidence related to each case.
3. Develop and implement robust defense strategies, tailored to the specific circumstances of each case.
4. Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel, striving to achieve the best possible outcome for our clients.
5. Represent clients in court proceedings, presenting clear and compelling arguments in their defense.
6. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and legal precedents, ensuring that all legal advice provided is accurate and current.
7. Foster strong relationships with clients, providing them with regular updates on the progress of their case and addressing any concerns or queries they may have.
8. Collaborate with other members of the legal team, contributing to the overall success and reputation of our firm.
Qualifications
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Active member of the State Bar in good standing.
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Personal Injury Defense Attorney.
4. Proven track record in civil litigation and negotiation.
5. Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
8. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
9. High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
10. Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
