The Sr Mgr, Pharma Contracting - Trade Relations is responsible for leading and coordinating activities to support the goals of the Zinc Health Services Negotiator Team and leadership related to bid cycles, commercial contracts, and product review processes. Responsibilities include however not limited to reviewing manufacturer proposals, contract redlines, develop product/category review materials, and provide summaries to leadership.

This person is an individual contributor. The Trade Relations Negotiator Senior Advisor is expected to be competent with contract language, bid processes, working across multiple business units, demonstrate critical thinking, and present to team members and leadership.

Location: Ideally, this role will be located out of Bloomington, MN or Northbrook, IL on a hybrid/remote schedule. However, a remote/work from home arrangement may be considered for a highly qualified candidate.

Primary Responsibilities:

*Collaborate with manufacturers and internal partners to ensure compliant bids and support negotiations.

*Review bids, understand the impact, and effectively move them through the process for review.

*Prepare bid cycle and product review presentation materials.

*Present materials to leadership.

*Ensure bids are accurately memorialized in contracts, review redlines, and work with manufacturers to finalize language.
*Review financial modeling for accuracy and potential formulary changes.
*Review contract underwriting for accuracy and financial impact from language and/or rate changes.
*Coordinate product reviews with the Zinc Health Services Team and leaders. Build and maintain relationships with internal and external partners.
*Prepare manufacturer summaries for leadership Team.
*Collaborate with internal partners.


Required Qualifications:

*7+ years of related work experience

*3-5 years of experience in healthcare, managed care, health plans, or PBM
*Ability to travel up to 15-20%
*Contracting experience
*Advanced proficiency with MS Office (Teams, PowerPoint, and Excel)
*Demonstrated analytical skills and experience
Preferred Qualifications:

*Advanced communication and presentation skills
*Adept at collaboration and teamwork
*Adept at problem solving
*Knowledge of pharmaceutical products and services
*Knowledge of pharmacy and medical rebates

Education:

*Bachelors degree or equivalent experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$82,940.00 - $182,549.00


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
