Job description

This posting is for a contract assignment and is not a fullโ€‘time employment offer with Boeing. Candidates selected for roles will be employed as contract workers through a Boeing approved 3rd party for the duration of the specified project.

The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) team is seeking a Contract Product Review Engineer (Liaison Engineer).

Position Responsibilities
  • Research and build knowledge of Boeing and engineering design principles to develop solutions to product/process issues for production or simple technical inโ€‘service issues.
  • Assist with analyses, root cause analysis and drafting dispositions for design nonโ€‘conformances.
  • Assist system owner in preparation of technical communications.
  • Identify analyses fleet data, collect and evaluate data on customer findings for product/process improvement opportunities that may include recurrent product support issues.
  • Support activities to identify deviations that could impact design intent and safety.
  • Participate in Material Review Boards and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).
  • Assist with the design of interim structural repairs to restore damaged structure to original design strength capability.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
  • Prior MRB authorization.
  • Level 3: 5+ years of workโ€‘related experience with a Bachelorโ€™s Degree OR workโ€‘related experience with a Masterโ€™s.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
  • Experience in a manufacturing or manufacturing support environment.
  • Prior Boeing Defense MRB authorization.
  • Good communication and crossโ€‘group collaboration skills.
  • Handsโ€‘on problemโ€‘solving skills.
Pay Rate Range
  • Minimum Pay Rate: $55 per hour.
  • Maximum Pay Rate: $62 per hour.
  • Currency: USD.
  • Unit: hourly.
