Project Scope
- Large-scale, ground-up construction project
- Heavy steel erection and structural work
- Deep foundations and critical lifts
- Multiple union trades on site under a general contractor
- High-risk environment: rigging, lifts, confined space, and work at heights
- Lead day-to-day safety efforts on an active construction site
- Monitor steel erection, rigging, and high-risk work
- Conduct daily safety walks, audits, and inspections
- Review lift plans and critical permits
- Support field crews with hazard recognition and safe work practices
- Investigate incidents and drive corrective actions
- Deliver orientations, toolbox talks, and safety training
- Partner with project teams and subcontractors to maintain compliance
- 5+ years of construction safety experience
