Job description

The Mascot Performer is responsible for bringing our brand to life by entertaining and engaging guests through energetic, friendly, and professional character performances. This role plays a key part in creating memorable experiences by interacting with guests of all ages, participating in events, and supporting park promotions while maintaining character integrity and safety at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform as the company mascot at scheduled appearances, events, and promotions
  • Engage guests through positive body language, gestures, and non-verbal communication
  • Participate in parades, shows, photo opportunities, and special events
  • Maintain the personality and image of the mascot consistently
  • Follow all safety guidelines while wearing costume and performing duties
  • Work closely with supervisors and event staff to coordinate appearances
  • Assist with setup, breakdown, and care of mascot costumes
  • Ensure costume cleanliness and report any damage or needed repairs
  • Promote a fun, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all guests
  • Represent the organization professionally at all times
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • High energy, outgoing personality, and strong performance skills
  • Ability to remain in character at all times while in costume
  • Comfortable interacting with large crowds and children
  • Ability to work in hot, confined, and physically demanding conditions
  • Capable of standing, walking, dancing, and performing for extended periods
