- have 2-5 years of visual design experience
- can show us a portfolio showcasing both range and craft-not just executional output, but considered visual thinking
- are deeply fluent in Figma and comfortable in the Adobe suite (Illustrator and Photoshop at a minimum)
- have experience with motion graphics
- care about brand systems and consistency, having worked within them and understanding why they matter
- have some exposure to or interest in character design, illustration systems, or mascot work
- work fast without sacrificing quality-you know the difference between speed and shortcuts
- are genuinely curious about AI-assisted creative tools and have started exploring how they change your workflow
- communicate clearly about creative decisions without being precious about them
- have worked somewhere scrappy-a startup or small team where you had to figure things out
