Quality Control Inspector - 2nd Shift

Location: Jacksonville, TX

Salary Range: $14.00

Position: Assembly Line

Job description: A.T. Staffing is seeking a 2nd Shift Quality Control Inspector. The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all products meet company and customer quality standards throughout the production process. This role involves conducting inspections, monitoring assembly and packaging, and communicating quality concerns to maintain efficient and compliant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pull hourly product samples from each machine and cavity in production
  • Perform hourly inspections, including measurements and visual checks
  • Accurately document inspection results on Daily Inspection Reports
  • Conduct assembly inspections (drilling, cleaning, sorting, and product assembly)
  • Verify correct materials, components, and packaging per routing tickets
  • Ensure proper packaging and labeling standards are followed
  • Maintain sample library and manage 24-hour sample retention
  • Replace and update "Last Shot" samples at the end of production runs
  • Communicate quality issues promptly to Operators and Shift Supervisors
  • Support overall shift efficiency and assist production as needed
