Part-Time Hourly Caregiver

Job Summary:

Always Best Care of Greater Bristol is seeking a compassionate and experienced Part-Time Hourly Caregiver to provide non-medical care services to our clients in Granby, CT. As a caregiver with our organization, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and individuals in need of care. We are seeking candidates who have excellent communication skills, previous experience working with seniors, and a passion for providing care.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provides daily routine care such as bathing, dressing, and feeding

  • Responsible for house maintenance when applicable

  • Answer phone calls for clients when necessary

  • Converses with patients to provide assurance

  • Observes Universal Precautions

  • Provides patient transportation to doctor appointments, outside activities, and shopping

  • Provides patient laundry and linen changes

  • Light housekeeping

  • Provides medication reminders

  • Meal preparation and clean up

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Non-Medical Caregiver required

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and reliable transportation

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills

  • Must have Cell Phone / Tablet
