Position Overview:

Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a full-time MRI Technologist to join an Imaging Office at a Radiology Group in Maplewood, NJ. This role requires an experienced professional with significant MR work experience, particularly with high-field magnets. Qualifications:

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program
  • Licensure: ARRT(MR) certification required
  • Experience: 1 year of MR work experience required; high-field magnet experience is a must; GE high-field magnet experience preferred; Phillips and Siemens experience a plus; CT experience preferred
  • Technical Skills: 
    • May be required to train in and perform remote MRI scanning.
    • Will be required to perform duties in or near areas containing specialized imaging equipment and must be able to adhere to all department and facility safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI exams with accuracy and care using high-field magnets across multiple office locations
  • Operate and maintain MRI imaging equipment according to established protocols on various equipment brands (GE, Phillips, Siemens)
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout all procedures, including screening for MRI safety contraindications
  • Train in and perform remote MRI scanning as required
  • Adhere to all department and facility safety protocols, especially when working in or near areas containing specialized imaging equipment
  • Maintain required certifications and stay current with industry standards
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare team members as needed
  • Utilize CT experience as a plus when applicable
  • May be required to perform duties in or near areas containing specialized imaging equipment
