Lead MRI Technologist - Full-Time - Day Flex - Allen

Join a close-knit, high-performing team where you'll play a key leadership role within the MRI department. As a Lead MRI Technologist, you will help optimize workflow, mentor and support staff, and ensure the delivery of high-quality imaging services.

In this role, you will:

  • Support daily departmental operations and workflow efficiency

  • Provide guidance, training, and troubleshooting support to MRI technologists

  • Collaborate closely with radiologists on imaging protocols and advanced procedures

  • Assist with the implementation of new and evolving research protocols

  • Utilize state-of-the-art technology, including GE MRI systems

  • Promote a culture centered on safety, quality, and exceptional patient care

Location: 5141 Broadway (at 220th Street), New York, NY 10034

Union Role: Requires registration with the 1199 Job Security Fund.

Schedule:
  • Full-time, day flex: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:00 PM

  • Includes alternating weekends and holidays

  • Flexibility required to support occasional evening coverage as needed

Preferred Criteria
  • Experience working with GE technology

Required Criteria
  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiology program

  • New York State License in Radiology with certification to inject contrast media

  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiology and MRI - ARRT (R)(MR). Maintains continuing education credits per ARRT requirements.

  • Minimum 3 years of MRI experience

  • Proficient in EMR, RIS, HIS, PACS, modality specific software

Salary Range:

$62.75 - $73.65/Hourly
