Power Distribution & Automation Systems Engineer
Location: On-site
We're seeking an engineer to support electrical power systems and Honeywell-based building automation across a complex R&D environment. You'll help ensure reliable operation of critical utilities, support infrastructure upgrades, and partner across facilities, EHS, security, and IT teams.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain and support primary/backup electrical power systems.
  • Manage Honeywell BMS, EMS, Security, and Fire Alarm systems.
  • Support control systems for HVAC, chilled water, boilers, steam, purified water, and other utilities.
  • Provide engineering input for capital plans and infrastructure projects.
  • Support electrical and automation aspects of facility and lab upgrades.
  • Partner with EHS, Business Continuity, Security, and Digital/IT on reliability and risk mitigation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve system performance and efficiency.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years with electrical systems in regulated or technical environments.
  • Experience with PLC/HMI programming, power monitoring, and IoT/SMART building technologies.
  • Knowledge of Ethernet/fiber networking, diagnostics, and CMMS tools.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Proficiency with Windows and MS Office.
