RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Phoenix, AZ that is seeking a DevOps Engineer.
Summary:
We have partnered with a forward-thinking organization that's building and scaling modern cloud-native platforms. They're seeking a DevOps Engineer to help evolve their infrastructure, improve CI/CD pipelines, and support mission-critical applications in AWS. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys automation, clean infrastructure design, and collaborating across engineering and business teams.
Duties:
* Design, build, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
* Enhance and support CI/CD pipelines to improve build, test, and deployment processes
* Partner with Engineering, QA, and Operations to support the full application lifecycle
* Leverage AWS services to support scalable, secure, and reliable systems
* Champion DevOps best practices and help mentor junior team members
* Continuously improve reliability, performance, and time-to-market through automation
REQUIREMENTS:
* 3+ years of experience in a DevOps or Cloud Engineering role
* Strong hands-on experience in AWS
* Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
* Working knowledge of CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Terraform Cloud, or similar)
* Experience with Docker, Linux, Bash, and configuration languages like YAML
* Familiarity with Python or Node.js
* Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
Nice to Have:
* Serverless frameworks and AWS Lambda
* API Gateway, IAM, CloudFront
* Experience supporting high-availability or mission-critical systems
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
This job is not eligible for bonuses, incentives or commissions.
