Job description

PSCI-LIA, a fast-growing 8(a), SDVOSB, and woman-owned small business, is seeking a Admin Support/Information Specialist for an upcoming contract.
Position Summary
Information Specialist providing general admin support, federal travel regulatory coordination, conference/training room set-up, and information services to the USTDA staff.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative management support across office management, building/facilities, HR, and security.
  • Support information and records management.
  • Apply federal travel regulations (FTR) when supporting travel logistics.
  • Set up conference, board, and training rooms.
  • Provide on-site AV technical support during events.
  • Provide training and technical assistance to staff.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness and recommend improvements.
  • Move files/boxes as needed.
  • Cross-cover reception and mailroom duties when needed.

Required Education
  • College degree in business or information management and/or related certifications PREFERRED.
  • High school diploma REQUIRED at minimum; equivalent experience considered

Required Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of administrative management or relevant work experience.
  • Experience creating and implementing organizational or administrative management policies and procedures.
  • Experience evaluating program effectiveness and recommending improvements.
  • Experience providing training and technical assistance to staff.
  • Experience in information and records management.
  • Proficient in IT programs, databases, and computerized systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Commitment to innovative and quality customer service.
  • Physical ability to move large numbers of files and/or file boxes.
  • Experience with federal travel regulations (FTR).
  • Experience setting up conference, board, or training rooms.
  • Experience with administrative services like office management, building/facilities, HR, and/or security.
  • Experience providing on-site AV technical support during events.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to identify and resolve complex problems.

Preferred Qualifications / Certifications
  • Federal travel system (E2 / Concur) experience.
  • Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS).

Clearance & Eligibility Requirements
  • U.S. Citizenship required (PWS D.1.4).
  • Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a final SECRET security clearance issued by DCSA. An active interim Secret may be acceptable for non-Project Manager positions per PWS D.1.5.1, subject to Contracting Officer discretion.
  • Candidates without a current clearance must be eligible to be processed for a Department of State (DOS) Personal Identification Facility Access Card (FAC) prior to start.
  • Must complete and pass Certification of Personnel requirements per RFP Section E.1.8 (Certification confirms availability for award and commitment to the position).
  • Must consent to and pass a USTDA non-disclosure agreement (NDA) and abide by USTDA dress code, FAR-mandated conduct, and DD-254 classification handling rules.

Compensation & Benefits
Starting hourly rate: $22.00. Plus SCA Health &Welfare, 11 federal holidays, vacation and sick leave.
