Cloud Administrator 4 - Secret Clearance
Location: Concord or Tewksbury, MA | Duration: 6 months | $79.00-$82.00/hr W2
About the Role
Join a high-impact team as a Cloud Administrator 4, managing the smooth operation, security, and scalability of cloud-based systems for a mission-driven organization. You'll help maintain seamless cloud infrastructure performance, lead automation initiatives, and ensure robust system reliability-all while advancing your expertise in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with network administrators to maintain efficient cloud operations
- Set up and manage administrator and service accounts for cloud infrastructure
- Maintain detailed system documentation and tenant inventory
- Tune system performance and allocate mass storage
- Respond rapidly to large-scale virtual resource events, including VM and storage instantiation
- Diagnose and resolve critical software and system failures
- Drive automation, efficiency, and scalability through technical solutions
- Develop and improve tools, reports, and processes for cloud environment monitoring
- Provide timely updates on OS releases, patches, bugs, and system fixes
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree required
- Active Secret Clearance
- 2-4 years' proven experience as a Cloud Administrator
- IAT-2 certification and at least one cloud certification (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Strong skills in system documentation, cloud monitoring, and troubleshooting
Preferred Skills
- Advanced automation scripting
- Experience with large-scale cloud deployments
- Familiarity with mass storage management
