This role is for one of our clients
Compensation: $110-$150 per hour
We are seeking experienced legal professionals to contribute to the development of advanced evaluation tasks for AI systems operating within complex enterprise and Fortune 500 legal environments.
The work is designed around the regulatory complexity, transaction scale, compliance requirements, and risk considerations faced by large public companies. As a Law Expert, you will create realistic enterprise legal scenarios, develop high-quality reference responses, and build detailed evaluation rubrics that distinguish sophisticated legal reasoning from generic or surface-level answers.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop realistic enterprise legal scenarios covering:
    • In-house counsel matters
    • Regulatory and compliance issues
    • Corporate and transactional work
    • Litigation and dispute resolution
  • Create scenarios grounded in major enterprise compliance frameworks, including:
    • FCPA
    • SOX
    • GDPR
    • HIPAA
    • Sector-specific regulations across banking, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and insurance
  • Develop tasks involving enterprise-scale commercial contracting, including:
    • Master Services Agreements (MSAs)
    • Statements of Work (SOWs)
    • Data Processing Agreements (DPAs)
    • Licensing agreements
  • Build M&A-focused legal diligence scenarios relevant to large corporate transactions.
  • Develop enterprise risk-management scenarios aligned with ERM and COSO frameworks.
  • Create board-level legal and risk reporting scenarios.
  • Develop investigation and compliance scenarios for highly regulated industries.
  • Author detailed, criterion-based evaluation rubrics reflecting the judgment and standards expected from senior enterprise legal professionals.
  • Review reference work and evaluation criteria to ensure legal accuracy, practical relevance, and consistency.
  • Translate complex legal judgment into clear and objective evaluation standards.
Ideal Qualifications
  • 2+ years of relevant legal experience as:
    • In-house counsel at a Fortune 500 or large public company, or
    • Partner or senior associate at a leading law firm representing major corporate clients.
  • Strong expertise in one or more enterprise legal practice areas, including:
    • M&A
    • Securities
    • Regulatory and compliance
    • Employment law
    • Intellectual property
    • Privacy and data protection
    • Commercial contracting
  • Experience handling matters involving large organizations, complex regulatory environments, or high-value transactions.
  • Familiarity with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platforms such as Ironclad, Agiloft, or Icertis.
  • Experience with enterprise Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) platforms and workflows is preferred.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent legal qualification.
  • Active admission to at least one applicable bar or legal regulatory body.
  • Prior experience creating legal training materials, assessment content, evaluation rubrics, examinations, or professional-development resources is a plus.
  • Excellent written communication and the ability to articulate nuanced legal reasoning clearly and precisely.
Compensation & Engagement
  • Hourly Rate: $110-$150 per hour, based on demonstrated expertise and relevant experience.
  • Minimum Commitment: 20 hours per week.
  • Work Arrangement: Fully Remote
  • Engagement Type: Independent Contractor
  • Initial onboarding includes a paid calibration program designed to familiarize contributors with the evaluation standards and quality expectations.
  • High-performing contributors may progress into reviewer, lead, and domain SME positions, with opportunities for increased rates and responsibility.
Contract and Payment Terms
  • Projects may be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on project requirements and performance.
  • The engagement will not require access to confidential or proprietary information belonging to any employer, client, or institution.
  • Payments are made weekly based on services rendered through available payment platforms.
  • H-1B and STEM OPT candidates are not currently supported.
Equal Employment Opportunity
We consider all qualified applicants without regard to legally protected characteristics and provide reasonable accommodations upon request.
