Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Hotel General Manager to lead operations at Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham in Kingsland, GA. This leadership role is ideal for a hospitality professional who is passionate about guest service, team development, operational excellence, and driving hotel performance.

The General Manager will oversee all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, financial success, and compliance with brand standards.


Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all daily hotel operations including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services
  • Recruit, train, coach, and develop hotel team members
  • Ensure high guest satisfaction scores and service quality
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, payroll, and expense management
  • Drive revenue growth and maximize hotel profitability
  • Maintain Wyndham brand standards and property appearance
  • Monitor operational performance and implement improvements
  • Build strong relationships with guests, vendors, and the local community
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulations


Qualifications
  • Previous hotel management or assistant general manager experience required
  • Wyndham brand experience preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
