ABOUT THE ROLE

We are searching for a Hotel Manager for a prominent upper-upscale branded hotel in Calgary, Canada. This is a fast-track leadership role with a clear pathway to General Manager within 1 to 2 years, supported by a brand actively expanding its global portfolio. The right candidate will oversee a large, full-service property and lead a senior team across Food and Beverage, Rooms, Housekeeping, Guest Experience, and Engineering. • Drive revenue performance, guest satisfaction, and operational excellence across a large full-service property
  • Lead and develop a senior leadership team, fostering a high-performance culture aligned with brand standards
  • Oversee food and beverage operations with a hands-on understanding of restaurant, bar, and in-room dining service
  • Ensure compliance with LQA standards, SOPs, and brand operating procedures throughout the property
  • Partner with the General Manager on strategic planning, ownership relations, and commercial performance
  • Support union relations and ensure adherence to applicable labour agreements
What you'll bring
  • Proven experience as a Hotel Manager or General Manager at a large, full-service upper-upscale, lifestyle, or luxury hotel in North America
  • A strong Food and Beverage background is a firm preference - an F&B-rooted GM or HM is the ideal profile
  • Experience managing large properties (400+ rooms) in a branded hotel environment
  • Branded hotel experience and strong SOP knowledge are essential
  • Union experience is a strong asset
  • Commercially driven with a track record of delivering results across revenue, guest satisfaction, and team engagement
  • Open and willing to relocate globally as part of a long-term career trajectory
  • Canadian or U.S. citizen or permanent resident
What’s offered
  • Base salary of CAD$185,000 per year
  • Incentive bonus of up to 20%
  • Medical and dental coverage
  • Pension with 5% employer match
  • Relocation package
  • A defined fast-track pathway to General Manager within 1 to 2 years
  • Access to a growing global portfolio with genuine career development opportunities
