About the Opportunity
HireQuest is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper for a hotel location
in Portland's Pearl District. This role involves cleaning and preparing guest rooms and
common areas to ensure a welcoming, high-quality guest experience.
This position is ideal for individuals who are dependable, detail-focused, and have prior
hotel housekeeping experience.
Responsibilities
Clean and prepare guest rooms according to hotel standards
Change linens, make beds, and replenish room amenities
Vacuum, dust, and sanitize surfaces throughout guest rooms and common areas
Restock housekeeping carts with necessary supplies
Report maintenance issues or damages to supervisor
Follow all hotel safety and cleanliness protocols
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements
Previous hotel housekeeping experience required
Ability to stand, bend, and lift for entire shift
Strong attention to detail and work ethic
Must be punctual and reliable consistent attendance required
Must be 18 years of age or older
Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions
Working Conditions
Fast-paced hotel environment
May require bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting throughout the shift
Exposure to cleaning chemicals and supplies (PPE provided as needed)
Other duties assigned as needed
