Job Title: Shuttle Driver – Guest Service

Department: Legacy Hotel

Position Summary: The Shuttle Driver ensures hotel guests enjoy a smooth, welcoming, and memorable experience from arrival to departure. They work closely with Guest Services and other hotel departments to provide guest assistance with valet, luggage, transportation, and other miscellaneous needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly,anticipateneeds, andassistwith parking, luggage handling, and escorting guests to their rooms

  • Respond promptly and efficiently to guest requests and service needs

  • Provide guests with directions, local area information, and hotel amenities details

  • Safely transport luggage and packages to and from guest rooms, vehicles, and loading areas

  • Park and retrieve guest vehicles in a courteous andtimelymanner, using claim tickets and documenting any vehicle damage asrequired

  • Ensure guest vehicle keys are securelystored at all times

  • Explain guest room features and amenities, including televisions, phones, and other in-room technology

  • Transport guests via hotel van to local destinations or arrangeappropriate transportationas needed

  • Transport authorized guests via hotel golf carts to IMG campus locations

  • Maintain hotel transportation vehicles, including cleaning, washing, and fueling of vans and golf carts

  • Ensure front drive, lobby, and entry areas are clean, organized, and well-maintained, including seating areas, walkways, doors, and surrounding grounds

  • Protect confidential guest and proprietary informationin accordance withcompany policies

  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

  • Valid US Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record

  • Previous experience in hotel services is preferred 

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Ability to drive a variety of vehicles including golf carts and vans

  • Ability to read, understand and comply with the rules and regulations of the State and Federal DOT.

  • Strong customer service and communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with guests, team members, and leadership

  • Knowledge of hotel operations, guest service standards, and local area attractions preferred

  • Ability to handle guest concerns calmly, courteously, and efficiently

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Ability to lift, move, push and pull equipment or luggage in excess of 60lbs 

  • Ability to stand and walk for duration of shift

  • Ability to work on various indoor and outdoor surfaces including grass, turf, courts, etc. in all weather

  • Must be able to bend, stoop,squatand stretch to fulfill tasks

  • Ability to safelyoperatemotor vehicles, hotel vans, and golf carts

  • Ability to work outdoors and indoors in varying weather and environmental conditions

  • Must be able tooperateoffice equipment such as computers

  • Ability towork days, nights, weekends and holidays as needed
