Job description

TownePlace Suites by Marriott Charleston Airport/Convention is seeking a Shuttle Driver for their beautiful property. Company benefits include health, vision, dental, PTO, 401k, employee discounts, and much more. The purpose of the Hotel Shuttle Driver is to serve guests in a professional, gracious manner and to perform all duties associated with bell staff to include loading, unloading and transportation of guest luggage, escorting guests to and from guest rooms, promoting hotel facilities and demonstrating guest room accommodations, providing information to guests, operating hotel vehicles, and more. Transport guests in a prompt, friendly and courteous manner using safe driving practices. This is a full-time position. Weekends are required. Open Availability is a must.
Essential Job Functions
  • Safely operate the hotel shuttle to transport guests between the hotel and designated local destinations.
  • Greet guests in a welcoming manner, assist with luggage, and provide information about the hotel's amenities and local attractions.
  • Adhere to traffic regulations and maintain a high level of safety while driving.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the shuttle, both inside and outside.
  • Keep accurate records of shuttle usage, mileage, and maintenance activities.
  • Communicate effectively with the front desk staff to coordinate shuttle services for guests.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and addressing any concerns.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times while representing the hotel.
  • Handle guest feedback and resolve issues in a courteous and timely manner.

Experience/Education
