The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. Position Summary
The Sales Coordinator provides administrative and commercial support to the Director of Sales & Events, coordinating group, corporate, leisure, and event business from the initial inquiry through the handoff to hotel operations. This role is essential to driving revenue, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience throughout the sales process.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to group, corporate, and leisure sales inquiries.
- Prepare proposals, contracts, amendments, and client correspondence.
- Coordinate group room blocks, rooming lists, and turnover documentation.
- Track contracts, deposits, and group deadlines.
- Support site inspections, client visits, and FAM trips.
- Maintain CRM databases, sales reports, and account records.
- Assist with RFP submissions and prospecting activities.
- Coordinate with Operations, Front Office, Revenue, and Food & Beverage to ensure successful group and event execution.
- Deliver exceptional service while building long-term client relationships.
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of hotel sales experience.
- Bilingual (English & Spanish).
- Strong organizational, communication, and administrative skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Marriott experience is a plus.
- Experience with Opera PMS, Cvent, ProposalPath, CI/SFAWeb, Salesforce, or other CRM platforms is preferred.
