Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Hotel Assistant General Manager to lead and oversee all operations at our vibrant hospitality property. In this pivotal role, you will be the driving force behind delivering exceptional guest experiences, managing daily hotel functions, and fostering a positive team environment. Your leadership will ensure the property runs smoothly, efficiently, and profitably while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality. Duties

  • Lead the overall operation of the hotel, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food & beverage services, ensuring seamless coordination across departments.
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue through effective pricing, sales initiatives, and promotional activities.
  • Oversee guest relations by ensuring exceptional service standards are met or exceeded, resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
  • Supervise staff recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and human resources functions to build a motivated and skilled team.
  • Manage budgeting, financial reporting, and expense control to meet financial targets while maintaining quality standards.
  • Maintain compliance with safety regulations, hotel policies, and brand standards to ensure a secure environment for guests and staff.
  • Utilize multi-line phone systems and phone etiquette skills to handle guest inquiries efficiently while fostering positive interactions.
  • Promote a welcoming atmosphere by overseeing guest services operations such as reservations, check-in/out procedures, and concierge services.
  • Monitor hotel operations during night shifts when necessary, including night audit processes to reconcile accounts accurately.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with guests from diverse backgrounds by leveraging multilingual or bilingual skills when applicable.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel operations with supervising experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work culture.
  • Extensive knowledge of hotel management systems, revenue management techniques, and front desk operations.
  • Excellent customer service skills paired with effective communication abilities in multiple languages or bilingual proficiency preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, human resources management, and guest relations strategies.
