Job Description

Check the Pre-Employment Medical Certificate of the expatriates and report any discrepancies
to the Human Resources Manager.
Provide First Aid to the employees and guests.
Provide First Aid Training to the employees.
Ensure that each Department has a First Aid Box.
Liaise with the Ministry of Health to ensure that the Medical certificates of the Expatriate
employees are attested.
Produce relevant periodic reports as and when required.
Number of sick leave recorded.
Number of employees/guests seen per month.
Attestation status ratio.
Food Handlers status ratio.
Report any health and safety hazards.
Accompany the employees to the hospital as and when required.
Assist in the orientation process of new employees.
Counsel and advise staff in all Medical related issues.
Plan supplies well in advance and liaise with the Human Resources Manager to ensure
availability of medical equipments at all time.
Attend and act as a First Aid Representative in all sport/welfare activities organised by the
Human Resources Manager.
Perform any other duties as assigned by Management.
 

Qualifications

Qualification :
Middle or Secondary Education + Additional training or certificates in the relevant field is a plus .
Minimum Diploma in Nurse or BSc (Hons) Nursing.
Must be a Registered Nurse with the The Nursing Council of Mauritius.


Experience :
Minimum 3 years experience as Nurse Practitioner.
Technical skills:
Is courteous and helpful to colleagues and customers.
Demonstrates dedication and commitment to their role
Flexible skills.
Be fully conversant with all health and safety and hygiene procedures.
