The Recruiting Intern will partner with the Shared Services Recruiting team to support recruiting and onboarding efforts for Omni Hotels & Resorts. This role is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both talent acquisition and onboarding, while also supporting the transition to our new system, Dayforce.
What You'll Do:
  • Review resumes and assist with initial candidate pre-screening
  • Support recruiting efforts across multiple hotel locations
  • Help keep candidates and hiring managers informed throughout the hiring process
  • Track and update candidate information in our system (Dayforce)
  • Assist with preparing offer letters and initiating new hire paperwork, including I-9s
  • Support onboarding activities to help ensure a smooth and welcoming experience for new hires
  • Assist with Dayforce-related projects, including data entry, process updates, and general support during the transition
  • Partner with HR teams to follow up on onboarding tasks and ensure completion
  • Maintain accurate candidate tracking and disposition applicants appropriately
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing projects
  • Help with additional HR and recruiting tasks as needed

What We're Looking For:
  • Some experience in an administrative, customer service, or HR-related role is a plus
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Interest in HR systems or recruiting tools (Dayforce experience is a bonus, not required!)
  • Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks
  • Detail-oriented with a willingness to learn
  • Professional, reliable, and able to handle sensitive information with care
