Job description

Hotel Maintenance Technician
The Hotel Maintenance position requires a positive attitude and the ability to problem solve on the go. This role requires a high degree of operational skills. Maintenance employees work with our guests, and must possess good interpersonal skills. The ability to work hand in hand with your co-workers, other departments, and management to achieve the ultimate goal, a satisfied customer, is necessary for this job. PM Hotel Maintenance crew performs the various preventive and emergency tasks associated with the operation of our hotels.
Must be 18 years or older to apply.
Job Type: Full time
Schedule: 04:30pm-11:30pm*

*Actual shifts may vary based on hotel occupancy.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform evening maintenance and repair work throughout hotel guest rooms and common areas.
  • Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests to ensure a positive guest experience.
  • Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical issues.
  • Inspect guest rooms and hotel facilities to identify and address maintenance concerns.
  • Maintain and repair doors, locks, windows, furniture, fixtures, and appliances.
  • Ensure hotel hallways, lobbies, stairwells, and public areas are safe and well-maintained.
  • Complete preventive maintenance tasks according to established schedules.
  • Assist with room turnarounds and emergency repairs as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of work orders and completed repairs.
  • Follow all safety procedures and report hazards, equipment failures, or facility concerns to management.
  • Assist with snow removal, grounds maintenance, and other property upkeep tasks when required.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping and front desk teams to resolve guest and facility issues efficiently.

Hotel Maintenance Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED, preferred
  • A valid driving license, with a clean driving record, is preferred
  • Must be available to work weekends
  • Must be 18 years old or older to apply
  • Must be able to complete repetitive tasks while maintaining quality
  • Ability to work well under pressure
