This role will provide amazing guest service while maintaining the full operational functionality of the building. You and the entire engineering team are responsible for the repair, service, and preventative maintenance of all things within and outside of the hotel building. Taking pride and passion for your work and working within a team.
Essential Job Functions:
โ€ข Deliver exceptional service with warmth and attentiveness to our guests
โ€ข Prioritize prompt responses to guest concerns and requests
โ€ข Conduct proactive maintenance in guest rooms and public spaces
โ€ข Support the installation, repair, and upkeep of hotel facilities
โ€ข Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues
โ€ข Meticulously document all maintenance activities
Physical Demands:
โ€ข Lift, push, pull, rotate 50 lbs or more
โ€ข Manual dexterity to operate and grasp tools
โ€ข Ability to climb stairs and ladders
โ€ข Standing and walking up to a full 8 hours a day
Qualifications:
Education:
โ€ข High school diploma or its equivalent
โ€ข Trade school or General Maintenance/Technician certification a plus
Experience:
โ€ข One year of experience in general maintenance and repair work at hotels preferred
โ€ข One year of experience in general maintenance and repair work required
โ€ข Knowledge of OSHA Safety and Chemical Standards
