YOUR DAY-TO-DAY ROLE

  • Welcome guests and ensure their satisfaction throughout the service
  • Handle complaints, allergies and special requests with professionalism
  • Ensure communication between the dining room and the kitchen
  • Manage reservations and participate in the daily inspection of the dining room
  • Apply hygiene and sanitation standards at all times
  • Collaborate with the sommelier, the chef and the dining room team
  • Support the supervision of the dining room team and participate in staff training
  • Participate in cost control, inventory management and equipment ordering
  • Perform cash counting at the end of service

THIS POSITION IS RIGHT FOR YOU IF:

  • You have 2 to 3 years of experience in the restaurant or hotel industry
  • You hold a DEC in restaurant management or any relevant training
  • You are bilingual, with a good command of both French and English, oral and written — required due to regular interactions with an international clientele
  • You demonstrate leadership, autonomy, good sense of priorities and a high tolerance for stress
  • Knowledge of LightSpeed is an asset
  • A MAPAQ certification or sommelier certification is an asset
