History and spectacular landscapes come together, at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Celebrated landmarks, including Thomas Jefferson's Monticello and the University of Virginia, are clustered here among swathes of the East Coast's most beautiful scenery. The region is also home to over 25 wineries, breweries and cideries.

This is the setting for Keswick Hall, an impressive 80-room luxury boutique hotel nestled on 600 acres which recently re-opened in 2021 after renovations. Home to the prestigious Keswick Golf Club, Marigold Restaurant, by Jean-Georges, a new luxury spa and sports and aquatics center.

Job Summary:

The luxury hotel driver is responsible for providing safe, efficient, and courteous transportation services for hotel guests, ensuring their experience aligns with the high standards of the hotel. This role involves driving luxury vehicles, assisting with luggage, and offering a top-tier level of service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport guests to and from the hotel, airport, events, or other requested destinations in a luxury vehicle.
  • Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off, providing seamless and efficient service.
  • Maintain a high standard of safety and comfort during the journey.
  • Regularly inspect and maintain the cleanliness and condition of the vehicle.
  • Ensure the vehicle is well-stocked with refreshments, maps, and other amenities.
  • Report any vehicle issues or maintenance needs to the hotel management.
  • Greet guests with a professional and friendly demeanor.
  • Assist with guest luggage, ensuring safe loading and unloading.
  • Be attentive to guest preferences, such as preferred routes or in-vehicle amenities.
  • Offer local information, recommendations, and updates about traffic or weather conditions when appropriate.
  • Adhere to all local driving laws and hotel policies regarding transportation.
  • Ensure that the vehicle is equipped with all required safety features (seat belts, airbags, etc.).

  • Valid Driver's License : A clean, valid driver's license is required, along with the ability to operate luxury vehicles.
  • Experience : Previous experience as a professional driver, preferably in a luxury hotel or high-end service environment.
  • Customer Service : Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests from diverse backgrounds.
  • Knowledge of Local Area : Familiarity with local landmarks, attractions, and the best routes for city navigation.
  • Physical Requirements : Ability to assist with luggage and perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks as needed.
