Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and performing detailed cleaning tasks. Your positive attitude and eye for detail will help keep our hotel clean, welcoming, and above guest expectations. In this important role, you will be responsible for keeping the property clean, organized, and well maintained through daily cleaning and detailed housekeeping tasks. You will also be responsible for thoroughly preparing guest rooms scheduled for arrival in a timely manner to ensure every guest has a comfortable and welcoming stay

Duties

  • Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold high standards of cleanliness
  • Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens.
  • Ensure all sanitation protocols are followed to promote a healthy environment for residents or guests
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs promptly and professionally
  • Responsible for tasks such as restocking supplies, emptying trash bins, and maintaining cleaning equipment in optimal condition.

Skills

  • Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required.
  • Understanding of hotel cleanliness standards and the ability to properly clean, sanitize, and maintain carpets and floors to ensure a welcoming environment for guests.
  • Capable of managing laundry operations in a timely manner while maintaining the quality, cleanliness, and presentation of linens, towels, and other guest-use items to meet hotel standards
  • Ability to interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, responding to requests promptly and helping ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay
  • Experienced in the use of housekeeping tools, equipment, and cleaning products to maintain guest rooms and public areas in accordance with hotel cleanliness standards.
  • Professional approach to following operational procedures and safety requirements while ensuring a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for guests.
