GENERAL DUTIES
Collaborates with leadership in assessing, planning, implementing, coordinating and evaluating the designated Program. Assists in program, center, and/or service line development, managing the accreditation process and ensuring continuous compliance with state and national standards.
Scope of Projects
Projects supported by the team member may include, but are not limited to:
  • International Nurse recruitment, onboarding, and integration initiatives
  • Standardized new graduate nurse orientation and transition-to-practice programs
  • Nursing workforce development and pipeline programs
  • Policy and procedure standardization
  • Education and competency alignment across facilities
  • Quality and safety-related nursing initiatives
  • Pilot programs and system-wide nursing operational improvements

Initial Key Responsibilities
International Nursing Program Coordination
  • Serve as the primary coordinator for the International Nursing Program, Hearts Around the World.
  • Support onboarding, orientation, and transition-to-practice activities for internationally educated nurses across the system.
  • Coordinate with internal partners including HR, Talent Acquisition, Education, Legal, IT, Epic Support teams, and Unit Leadership.
  • Assist with cohort planning, scheduling, content sequencing, and logistics for onboarding and orientation.
  • Support mentor and preceptor coordination, including tracking participation and feedback.
  • Collect, organize, and synthesize feedback from international nurses and stakeholders to support continuous program improvement.
  • Assist with compliance tracking related to licensure, orientation completion, and program milestones.

EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3 years of experience Clinical nursing

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS
  • Required: Associates Degree in Nursing

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
  • Basic Life Support Health Care Provider
  • Registered Nursing License
