Job Description
AECOM Tishman is hiring a Senior Project Manager (MEP) to lead end-to-end delivery of complex hospitality project. This leadership position will own MEP scope from preconstruction through commissioning and handover.• You will drive design coordination, procurement, construction, testing, and operations readiness for HVAC, electrical, ELV/ICT, fire & life safety, plumbing, and controls/BMS, back-of-house, kitchens, laundry, spa/pool, and public areas..
Duties:
  • Own MEP scope, schedule, budget, risk, and change control from concept to closeout.
  • Develop integrated master plans, delivery strategies, and stage-gate approvals.
  • Coordinate with the BIM team leading multi-disciplinary coordination of trades
  • Oversee site logistics, installation quality, and integration.
  • Resolve RFIs, manage submittals/shop drawings, and enforce QA/QC and safety standards.
  • Commissioning, Handover & Operations Readiness
  • Deliver training, O&M documentation.
  • Serve as the primary MEP point-of-contact for the client and brand.
  • Manage risk registers, mitigation plans, and issue escalation pathways
  • Report progress, KPIs, and forecasts to leadership and the client.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
  • BA/BS Engineering, Construction Management or similar curriculum and 10 years of relevant MEP construction project management experience, including 2 years of leadership or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven delivery of MEP systems across design, procurement, construction, and commissioning on multi-million-dollar hospitality or comparable complex projects.
  • Deep knowledge of hotel brand standards and authority requirements; adept at integrating kitchens, laundry, pool/spa, back-of-house, and guest room controls/BMS.
  • Strong command of local codes/standards (e.g., ASHRAE, NEC/IEC, NFPA, IPC, IECC, energy codes), and life-safety/egress requirements.
  • Proficiency with BIM-based coordination and common PM tools (e.g., Autodesk Revit/Navisworks, BIM 360, Bluebeam, MS Project or Primavera P6, Procore).
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, commercial acumen, and client-facing communication.
  • Track record delivering fast-track programs in urban or resort environments with complex logistics.
  • Schedule and cost management, earned value, and risk/change control.
  • Contractor oversight, QA/QC, and safety leadership.
  • Stakeholder management with owners, brand reps, authorities, and operations teams.
  • Clear, decisive communication and issue resolution under time pressure.
