About the Opportunity
At Firmo Construction, we've been building hotels since 2003. We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead ground-up branded hotel projects across the Southeast.
This hands-on role within a General Contractor environment is responsible for managing projects from buyout through closeout, with ownership of schedule, budget, subcontractor coordination, quality, and client satisfaction.
The ideal candidate has direct experience delivering hospitality projects for major brands including Hilton, Marriott International, IHG Hotels & Resorts, and Hyatt Hotels Corporation, and thrives in a fast-paced, accountability-driven environment.
You will work closely with Superintendents, Owners, Design Teams, Trade Partners, and Executive Leadership to successfully deliver projects from preconstruction through closeout.

Key Responsibilities & Duties (not limited to):
  • Lead ground-up hospitality projects from buyout through closeout
  • Manage project schedules, critical path, milestones, and subcontractor coordination
  • Oversee project budgets, cost tracking, forecasting, buyouts, and change management
  • Coordinate RFIs, submittals, procurement, change orders, and project documentation within Procore
  • Lead OAC meetings and maintain strong communication with Owners, Architects, Consultants, and Trade Partners
  • Collaborate closely with Superintendents and Project team to align field and office operations, remove roadblocks, and maintain project momentum
  • Support Firmo's safety culture and reinforce compliance with OSHA and company safety standards
  • Monitor quality control, brand compliance, and hospitality operational standards throughout construction, finishes, punch, and inspections
  • Identify project risks early and proactively drive solutions to maintain schedule and budget
  • Support billing coordination, pay applications, and overall project cash flow management
  • Manage project turnover activities including punch lists, FF&E coordination, owner training, O&M manuals, brand inspections, and final closeout documentation
  • Maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication, accountability, and successful project execution

What We're Looking For:
  • 5-10+ years of Project Management experience with a Commercial General Contractor
  • Ground-up GC hotel / hospitality construction experience required
  • Experience with branded hotel projects including Hilton, Marriott International, IHG Hotels & Resorts, and Hyatt
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with Procore and construction management software
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
  • OSHA 30 required (may be completed after hire)

Additional Requirements:
  • OSHA30 Certification (may be completed/renewed after hire)
  • Ability to navigate active construction sites and lift up to 25 pounds
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as project needs require
  • Professional references and background check required
