About the Role

In this role, you will lead land development projects from pursuit through delivery, working closely with developers, municipalities, and multidisciplinary teams. This position aligns with the Strategic Plan of growth in Land Development for the Houston area.

You will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, guide project strategy, support team development, and help drive successful project outcomes across scope, schedule, and budget.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Lead residential, commercial, and industrial land development projects from planning through delivery
  • Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, contracts, and overall client expectations
  • Serve as a primary point of contact and trusted advisor for key clients and stakeholders
  • Lead project pursuits including proposals, presentations, and client strategy discussions
  • Mentor and support project managers and engineering staff
  • Monitor project financial performance including billing, scope changes, and profitability
  • Support business development efforts and identify opportunities for continued client growth

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering discipline
  • Professional Engineer license in Texas
  • Five to seven years of experience serving as a Project Manager within land development
  • Experience managing residential, commercial, and industrial development projects
  • Strong business development and client relationship management experience
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Active involvement in industry Organizations or professional groups preferred

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with Municipal Utility Districts and MUD creation
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary projects
  • LEED project experience is a plus
  • Strong network within the development community preferred
