WHAT WE ARE HUNGRY FOR

The Construction Project Manager is responsible for theimplementation of the Design & Construction guidelines, managingarchitectural and construction activities involved with new and remodellocations.

The Construction Project Manager will providerecommendations on prototype improvements, supervise the entire developmentprocess from test-fit to project closeout, and provide process-drivenenhancements when appropriate. The ideal candidate will leverage their construction/designknowledge to provide ongoing assistance to help us achieve our vision ofre-establishing the neighborhood bakery cafe as the heart of the communityaround the world.

KNOWLEDGE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage all facets of the project development process for newand remodel locations including test-fit layouts, CD's, permitting,construction through to opening of the cafe.
  • Supervise and manage the construction process while establishingand maintaining communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage Paris Baguette preferred architects, general contractors,millwork & sign vendors including ongoing development of new vendors, as needed.
  • Ability to develop scope of work, budgets, coordination ofdeliveries and identify risks for projects, project delivery requirements, costestimates and risk identification, as required.
  • Track progress of all projects against approved timelinesand goals. Reports on project status and potential delays and then implementsan action plan to meet objectives as needed for on time opening.
  • Implement the company's business policies, programs,specifications and procedures related to planning, design and construction ofParis Baguette locations
  • Undertake all reasonable measures to ensure that all agreedto new store build/ relocations/ remodels are met for franchisee markets.
  • Provide bakery/franchise design assistance and constructionproject management support to the teams to ensure new openings andredevelopments meet corporate design standards.
  • Stay current with bakery/franchise industry practicesregarding development plans, design standards and related cost and maintainliaison with Paris Baguette team to identify, cascade, and implement globalprograms and regional initiatives.
  • Perform assigned tasks as assigned.

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction or relatedfield.
  • At least, 5-7 years Architecture/Construction ProjectManagement experience in QSR/Retail/Hospitality/Entertainment industry.
  • Experience in the Architectural field including commercialand retail related activities.
  • Progressive leadership experience in a fast paced andrapidly growing retail environment. Must have a proven multi-unit restaurant developmentbackground leading 100 plus locations.
  • Experience with a fast growing, high-volume Franchise companypreferred.
  • Bakery/Cafe kitchen construction project managementexperience preferred.
