Overview
  • Collaborates on the planning, design, and execution of architectural projects through the following duties:

Job Responsibilities
  • Applies architectural experience to impactful and challenging projects, exercising independent judgment and creative problem-solving while collaborating with senior staff on complex assignments.
  • Independently leads a variety of architectural assignments with opportunities for creative problem-solving, while receiving mentorship and guidance on complex design challenges.
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of building codes and industry standards, with the ability to research, interpret, and consistently apply code requirements across projects.
  • Comprehensive understanding of construction documents and how they are developed, coordinated, and assembled throughout the project lifecycle, while maintaining established standards, best practices, and high-quality deliverables.
  • Coordinates and reviews project work to ensure quality and timeliness, while providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Ability to coordinate with all applicable project discipline drawings, digital models, and specifications.
  • Maintains positive and professional relationships with clients, consultants, colleagues, and contractors through clear and proactive communication.
  • Assists in preparing and following design budgets and marketing proposals.
  • Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of construction techniques and constructability.
  • Supports construction administration efforts by participating in site meetings, reviewing shop drawings and RFIs, and preparing ASIs in accordance with contract documents.
  • Ability to display a strong portfolio and/or work examples.
  • Proficient in:
    • Revit and BIM 360
    • Microsoft Windows, Excel, and Word

Education and/or Experience
  • Degree in architecture from an accredited college or university.
  • 5-7 years of experience in architecture profession.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or a Permanent Resident

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
  • Licensed architect or actively on the path to licensure.
