Position: Concierge - Skilled Nursing Facility
Job Type: FT - ALL SHIFTS

As the Concierge, you are one of the first impressions for all our visitors at Admiral Nursing & Rehab. Your warm and welcoming disposition play a very important role in providing residents, families and visitors with excellent customer service.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Greet new residents and their families, providing tours of the facility and answering any questions they may have.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for residents and their families, ensuing they have access to information about facility services, activities, and local resources.
  • Coordinate appointments for residents with various healthcare professionals, including doctors, therapists, and specialists.
  • Assists with dining, entertainment, and other activities, ensuring residents have a smooth and enjoyable experience.
  • Assist resident with daily tasks.
  • Assist with resident transport to and from dialysis.
  • Address resident concerns and requests in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring their needs are met.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service, representing the facility in a positive and welcoming manner.
  • Works closely with other facility staff, including nurses, therapist, and social workers, to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Maintain accurate records of resident preferences, requests, and activity participation

Other duties as assigned to support Admiral Nursing & Rehab's commitment to providing excellent customer service.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A minimum of a high school diploma or its equivalent.
  • 1–2 years of experience in a medical office or customer service environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EMR systems.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes (preferred).
  • Ability to pass background checks and reference checks.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar position in retirement living, nursing homes, or adult day care is preferred.
