Practice Overview:

  • Surgery Scheduler opportunity with a busy surgical practice in Southern California
  • Position will cover a leave of absence
  • Support office operations across Montclair and Covina locations
  • Work closely with physicians, clinical staff, administrative team members, and leadership
  • Ideal candidate will have prior experience in a surgical or specialty practice setting
  • Strong opportunity for someone with broad front-office, back-office, billing, credentialing, and operational experience
Position Responsibilities:
  • Schedule outpatient and inpatient surgical procedures with hospitals, surgery centers, and physicians
  • Coordinate surgery dates and times with patients, providers, operating rooms, and anesthesia teams
  • Obtain and verify insurance authorizations and referrals as needed
  • Prepare and maintain accurate surgical schedules and patient records
  • Confirm all required pre-operative testing, medical clearances, and documentation are completed before surgery
