Your future role at a glance

Location:  Appleton, WI

Facility:  St. Elizabeth

Department:  Security

Schedule:  Full-time / 1st Shift

How you'll make an impact in this role
  • Supervise the daily activities of the security team.
  • Monitor staff adherence to established policies and procedures.
  • Oversee staff training and development; coordinate and implement shift schedules to ensure comprehensive security coverage and hospital protection.
  • Support the manager with daily departmental operations, including interviewing, disciplinary actions, staff management, and contract administration.
What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Wisconsin Concealed Weapons License (CCW) to be obtained within 90 days (3 months) of hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Drivers License credentialed from the Wisconsin Department of Motor Vehicles obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.

One or more of the following are preferred:

  • BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Law Enforcement.
  • Management of Aggressive Behavior credentialed from the Management of Aggressive Behavior Training International, Inc.
  • Security Professional.

Education:

  •  High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.

Work Experience:

  •  1 year of experience required.
What additional requirements you'll need
  • Prior Leadership experience required and applicable Security experience, Law Enforcement experience, Military experience, or degree preferred.
  • Security training academy must be successfully completed during the probationary period.
  • Full time, Rotating shifts, primarily M-F Days. Combination of 8 and 12 hour shifts.
