Description
Lake Butler Hospital is a critical access hospital in North Florida providing 24-hour emergency services, inpatient hospitalization, swing bed program, rehabilitation services, outpatient laboratory, and outpatient radiology (X-ray, ultrasound, and CT Scan) services to Union County and the surrounding counties. We are devoted to providing all members of our community with premier-quality health care in a compassionate and inviting environment.
We are seeking a Hospital Security Guard to join our team! This is a part time role. Hours would be Friday and Saturday nights (8pm to 8am).
As a Security Guard for Lake Butler Hospital you will be responsible for the monitoring visitor entering and exiting the building, and ensuring the safety of the hospital's property and personnel. You will know all site-specific policies and procedures, and implement emergency response activities as appropriate, while providing superior customer service.
This position is for weekend-nights. Variable hours may be available.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years verifiable relevant experience
  • Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner
  • Display exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently
  • Able to:
    • Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat
    • Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds
    • Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time
  • As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
