About the Role:

The Security Guard plays a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and property within the assigned location. This position involves vigilant monitoring of premises to prevent theft, vandalism, and any unauthorized activities, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and company policies. The Security Guard will respond promptly and effectively to incidents, emergencies, and alarms, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as necessary. Through regular patrols, surveillance, and access control, the guard helps to deter potential security threats and provides a visible security presence that promotes peace of mind. Ultimately, this role contributes to the overall operational integrity and safety culture of the organization by proactively managing risks and fostering a secure atmosphere.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • BLS Certification
  • CPI Certification
  • Strong observational skills and attention to detail
  • Physical capability to perform patrol duties, including standing and walking for extended periods
  • 2 years' experience as a Security Officer in a hospital setting

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BHT Certification preferred
  • Hospital/Psychiatric experience preferred
