About the Role

The Account Executive serves as the strategic lead for a portfolio of Property & Casualty clients, with a strong focus on healthcare organizations. This role owns the client relationship, leads service delivery, and partners closely with Producers to support growth and retention.

You’ll bring a proactive, forward-thinking approach — anticipating client needs, guiding coverage decisions, and delivering thoughtful risk management strategies. This role regularly engages with senior leadership, including C-suite stakeholders, and requires confidence, strong communication skills, and technical expertise.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Leadership & Relationship Management
  • Take primary ownership of assigned client relationships and execute all service plan requirements
  • Lead client meetings, building trust and delivering strategic guidance
  • Present to executive-level stakeholders, including C-suite leadership
  • Maintain clear, consistent communication and document all client interactions
Placement, Renewal & Strategy
  • Manage the full lifecycle of renewals and new business submissions
  • Gather underwriting data and submit to appropriate markets
  • Review carrier quotes and develop comprehensive proposals
  • Prepare and deliver stewardship reports and ongoing account reviews
Growth & Business Development
  • Identify account rounding and cross-sell opportunities
  • Partner with Producers on new business opportunities and prospect strategy
  • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to strengthen relationships
Technical Expertise & Execution
  • Maintain strong knowledge of insurance products, markets, and coverage strategies
  • Oversee policy processing, invoicing, and documentation within agency management systems
  • Support negotiation strategies with carriers to deliver optimal client outcomes
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, technology usage, and client experience
  • Provide backup support across the team as needed

QUALIFICATIONS
What You BringRequired
  • 5+ years of Property & Casualty account management experience
  • 5+ years of commercial lines experience within an agency environment
  • Active Property & Casualty license
  • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, markets, and coverage structures
  • Experience managing client relationships, renewals, and carrier negotiations
  • Proven ability to lead client meetings and present to executive audiences
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Preferred
  • Healthcare or hospital client experience
  • Professional liability experience
  • Experience with Applied EPIC or similar agency management systems
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Prior leadership or mentoring experience
