Materials Management Associate - Part-time
NewYork-Presbyterian/Lower Manhattan Hospital is an amazing place where care, compassion, and community meet a world-class experience.
The Part-Time Material Management Associate maintains inventory (no stock outs; no product expirations; adherence to DOH and Joint commissions standards), both bulk and individual items, hospital-wide, including the storeroom (warehouse or on the nursing units) . Cycle counts, rotation of stock, organization of shelves, and removal of outdated items are done on a daily basis. Counts, issues, and prints pick slips throughout the materials management system daily. Ensures that issues are completed in the stock rotation, shelf organization, and removal of outdated items are performed daily, using the computer system for inventory taken from the storeroom.
Uses the barcode daily in the replenishment process. Maintains via computer or manual entry accurate data of materials received, delivered or dispensed. Collects, transport materials and supplies to and from all hospital areas and Materials Services storeroom. Maintain par inventory storage and stock levels of materials and supplies on all units and within the Materials Services area.
This position is for part-time Saturday and Sunday, 9:00am-5:00pm.

Hospital Materials experience
Required Criteria :
  • Qualified Candidate must have a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Candidates are to have a minimum of one year related experience in inventory management.

Salary Range:
$25.64-$27.55/Hourly
